The Schola is a chamber orchestra based in London, with concerts held in some of London’s finest churches, in venues across the capital, and at various venues around the world. It is a member of the London Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic, the British Chamber Music Society, and is a professional Member of the Royal Philological Society.

The Schola’s Concerts are a group of contemporary and historic musical instruments, from the soprano to the double bass and beyond, that make up the Schola’s Concerts. As the name suggests, the Schola’s Concerts are composed of musical instruments of all varieties. These range from the classical to the musical to the special instruments of the past, such as the fiddle and horn.

The choir performs in over thirty-five countries, with concerts across Europe and in the USA, and is a regular performer on the BBC. The Schola has a long and distinguished musical heritage, and has received numerous awards, including the National Opera Award for its outstanding achievement in the field of musical excellence. The Concerts of Peter Pan was founded in 1984 by award-winning organist and composer, Richard Hawker. Since its inception, Richard has provided an authentic symphonic experience in all its forms, including the traditional music of Peter Pan, Shakespeare’s King Lear, and much more.


The London Symphony Orchestra has been an important part of the London and British musical tradition since it was founded in 1872. Over the years, the London Symphony Orchestra has performed with many famous artists including Michael Bublé, The Black Eyed Peas, The Beatles, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and John Lennon.
